Just blocks from the conference location, the Fort Collins Hilton is newly renovated  and affordable. It is also the location for the final awards ceremony and banquet.

On-Campus Housing

Laurel Village

Another exceptionally affordable housing option for conference attendees is to stay in  the block of  very comfortable residence halls that we have reserved for  the IARR conference! These rooms are the same distance from the Lory Student Center as the Hilton, and they include breakfast at the Durrell Dining Center for each day that you stay there!


There are numerous floor plans to choose from, with varying levels of privacy. If you are looking for a roomate(s), you can use our discussion board to find people to share the room with. When you register, you will just indicate their names, and if they match those of your roommates, you will be placed together. Priced indicated are approximate until 2018  room rates are released later in the Fall of 2017.

There are many other lodging options in the area, should you choose not to stay near or on campus at the reduced rates we negotiated for conference attendees. Here are a few alternate suggestions.

The Armstrong Hotel

This quaint boutique hotel is in the heart of Old Town  and about a 10 minute talk to the Lory Student Center. The Armstrong also is right near the Max line, which can bus you to campus even faster. Ace Gillette's Lounge, which is in the basement of the Armstrong, is a popular speakeasy type bar with great live jazz on the weekends.

The Elizabeth Hotel

The Elizabeth Hotel is a brand new and beautiful Marriott Autograph Collection Hotel that opened in the Fall of 2017. The hotel is in Old Town, and is a short walk to the Max bus that can take you to the Colorado State University Campus.


The Edwards House

If you prefer the Bed & Breakfast vibe, the Edwards House is a beautiful and historic boutique inn in Old Town. It is only a short walk to the Max bus line, which can get you to the conference location quickly and easily.


Solarium International Hostel

There is a quaint and tropical themed international hostel a little less than a mile from the conference location, right next to Spring Creek Trail. It is a short bike ride away from all the conference activities!


The Candlewood Suites of Fort Collins


The Candlewood Suites of Fort Collins is an excellent choice for traveling families and guests looking to spend a little extra time in Fort Collins. Their suites feature in room kitchens and discounted extended stay pricing.  The Candlewood Suites is located just 3 miles south of campus and is a short walk from the Max bus line South station.
