There are many exciting events and optional activities planned for the IARR conference. Some are included in the registration fee, others are optional "add-ons" at the time of registration and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis due to limited capacity. When you register, be sure to still select that you want to attend events that are included in the registration fee, even if it is $0 or else you may not be able to get a ticket.
More details will be available as the conference draws closer, but here are a few that are planned!

This event is not one to miss, but there is limited space available. You will want to register early!
Sponsored by Facebook, this event serves to introduce newcomers to old timers (regardless of age or professional level) of IARR. So if this is your first time to IARR, you will get to network with those who have been longtime members! In-person social networking at it's best. This event will be held at an amazing new bar in Old Town Fort Collins (details available soon).

The traditional award dinner and banquet will be held at the beautiful Fort Collins Hilton. A cocktail reception will be held in the atrium before dinner is served. After all the awards have been announced, the party will begin! DJ and dancefloor...it is a party you do not want to miss!
We have several add-on activities that you can sign up for when you register (at additional cost). We know everyone has their own preferences on what they would like to do in their free time, so we wanted to offer many different types of organized activities for you to meet and network with other IARR conference attendees while you are in Fort Collins, CO. If none of these organized activities appeal to you, we have other ideas listed on the Planning your Trip page.
Saturday, July 14th, 2018, 7-9 pm
This optional event is for truly adventurous and open-minded conference goers! With Eris Enterprises sponsoring, we have reserved a private party at Avogadro's Number with none other than the Cupcake Cabaret serving as our entertainment. This cabaret group performs a regularly sold-out "Friday Night Follies" show, and we have arranged for them to perform just for us on a Saturday night (hence our play on the name). Think Vaudeville meets Burlesque and you get the idea of what the show is about. While not for everyone, it will prove to be a fun and entertaining night for those who reserve their tickets early!
There are limited tickets available for this show, and they can be purchased on a first-come, first-serve basis at the time of conference registration. If the weather is good, additional tickets may become available the week of the conference and the show will be performed on the venue's outdoor patio.
